Scott Trahan

Principal

 

As the founder of Milan Design & Build, LLC., Mr. Trahan brings over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience within the real estate and chemical manufacturing business. A visionary who has developed multiple projects in New Orleans, New York, and Dallas, Mr. Trahan is responsible for the overall direction of our firm and our team.

 

Education and Notable Achievements

Mr. Trahan graduated from Nicholls State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Business. He went on to establish Chemtech with fellow Milan Principal, Eric Mistretta in 1998 and eventually sold the company to Champion Technologies in 2010. Mr. Trahan and Mr. Mistretta are the Co-Owners of multiple U.S. patents involving metal corrosion and chemistry. Mr. Trahan's philanthropic interests include providing an annual scholarship program in Chemistry at Nicholls State University and as a major supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Eric Mistretta

Principal

 

Mr. Mistretta serves as both Principal of Milan Design & Build, LLC., and its Chief Financial Officer. As a seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Mistretta has has served as both Founder and Head of Operations for various companies. With a keen understanding of how to grow companies, Mr. Mistretta's primary role is financial operations and business development.

Education and Notable Achievements

Mr. Mistretta is a graduate of Nicholls State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a minor in Business. A fellow founder of Chemtech, Mr. Mistretta stayed on with the company during the transition and ultimately led Athlon Solutions as its Vice President of Business Services and Vice President of Sales and Operations. As previously stated above, Mr. Mistretta co-owns multiple U.S. patents involving metal corrosion and chemistry with Mr. Trahan. 

Duane Pfannenstiel (GMB)

Vice President of Operations

With over 30 years of experience in Dallas' residential real estate market, Duane's experience in new home construction, residential land development, and residential hi-rise finish outs is unparalleled. Recognized as one of Dallas' premier construction minds, Duane is responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in residential construction in some of Dallas' most prestigious neighborhoods.

 

Education and Notable Achievements

Recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder and Graduate Master Builder by the Home Builders Institute, Duane's extensive experience is recognizable through his work and knowledge of a variety of construction methods. Major projects include The penthouse in the Stoneleigh residence, multiple estate projects in Preston Hollow, and various new home construction throughout the DFW metroplex.

Sam Allgood (CGB)

Director of Sales + Marketing

A Louisiana native, Sam Allgood initially joined the team as a Project Manager. After garnering a strong foundation in residential construction methods he was inserted into his current role as Director of Sales and Marketing where he serves as the point of contact for all marketing and sales efforts. 

Education and Notable Achievements

Mr. Allgood holds both a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. Recognized as a Certified Graduate Builder by The National Association of Home Builders and a licensed agent with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty, Mr. Allgood has an acute understanding of the residential home construction and design process. Philanthropic interests include co-founding Health Initiative Abroad, Inc. and a volunteer experience in Bariloche, Argentina with World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF). 

Richard Bragg

Project Manager + Quality Control Manager

A native Texan, Richard was born in Dallas and is the son of former Dallas Police Captain Jack Bragg. Richard’s familiarity with the Dallas area and commitment to excellence have served him well in his past 12 years where he’s worked in Dallas’ most prestigious areas with many of the city’s most talented architects, including the late Frank Welch. Richard’s portfolio includes estate projects in Highland Park, University Park, Bluffview, and Preston Hollow as well as multiple homes in Westlake’s well-known Vaquero community. 

Education and Notable Achievements

Richard attended the University of Texas at Dallas where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies while playing for the university’s baseball team. Continuing his love for the game and his passion for helping others, Richard serves as a little league coach and plays an active role in his Church Community. 

Pamela Stevens

Business Manager

Pam Stevens is another Dallas real estate veteran with over 30 years of experience. As a business manager who understands the details of all phases of the construction process, Mrs. Stevens is an invaluable resource to the Milan team where she handles all internal accounting, project estimating, and day-to-day office operations.

Education and Notable Achievements

Mrs. Stevens received her Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University in Business. Previous work experience includes growing Sterling Designs, a high-end custom home-building company, from a start-up into a reputable construction business.

Kelly Trahan

Design Coordinator - New York

A lifelong fashion and design enthusiast, Mrs. Trahan's input on interior design has been invaluable for our company and its clients. Prior to stepping into residential interior design, Mrs. Trahan co-founded Manuel Exclusive Wear in 2006 where her line was featured at New York's Fashion Week. Coming full circle, Kelly now represents Milan in Manhattan, New York where she has directed the design of multiple high-end residential condominiums in the Upper East Side. 

Education and Notable Achievements

An entrepreneur at heart, Mrs. Trahan previously founded both Direct Mail of Dallas and Manuel Exclusive Wear. Additionally, Mrs. Trahan received recognition in a New York Times article back in 2015 for her efforts on an Upper East Side Pre-War Condominium renovation. Similarly to her husband, Mrs. Trahan is a major supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Brandon Pridgen (CGB)

Assistant Project Manager

Raised in Alabama, where he managed his father's machine shop, Brandon left the family business to embark upon his own journey here in Dallas. Brandon's passion for construction, attention to detail, and experience managing projects and people make him an invaluable member of the Milan Team.  

Education and Notable Achievements

Mr. Pridgen received his B.S. in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama and is recognized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB). Brandon is actively involved as a Volunteer at Cornerstone Crossroads Academy and a Life Coach where he focuses on developing young men to their full potential. His outreach isn't limited to Dallas, however, as he's also served abroad as a missionary in Japan.

Jonathan Lemus

Project Superintendent

A Dallas native, Jonathan was brought into the construction industry under the tutelage of his father, Jorge, whom owns one of the premier tile contracting firms in the area. After years of working with his father, Jonathan parlayed his experience into a Superintendent role with a focus on luxury hi-rise residential projects.

Education and Notable Achievements

Jonathan graduated with honors from North Garland High School and later went on to play Division 1 soccer with FC Dallas.

Giuliana Bellatin

Project Coordinator - Dallas

 

Giuliana is the daughter of a jewelry designer and granddaughter of an artist, real estate investor and builder. Her extensive travels from a young age instilled in her a passion for architecture and art along with an appreciation for craftsmanship and materials unique to countries around the world. With an enthusiasm for timeless design that incorporates function and lighting, Giuliana has dedicated the last twenty years to new construction and remodeling projects in Milan, Venice, Padua, Cortina D’Ampezzo, Miami Beach-South Beach, Corona del Mar (Newport Beach) California, and Dallas.  

Education and Notable Achievements

Giuliana received her B.A, Magna cum Laude from Trinity College, CT. She has lived in Europe, South America and several cities in the USA and is fluent in Italian, Spanish and English. Prior to dedicating herself to design, Giuliana worked with the Prime Minister of Italy and was one of the founders of an international school in Padua, Italy. She supports educational organizations and philanthropies locally and internationally. 

Kelsey Whiting

Accounting

Kelsey was born and raised in Dallas, TX. With a background in accounting with a focus on real estate taxes, Kelsey works in conjunction with Business Manager, Pam Stevens, to handle all accounting for Milan.

Education and Notable Achievements

Kelsey played college softball where she received her associates and is now currently in school at Northwood University to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Upon completing her Bachelor's, Kelsey intends to sit for the CPA exam.
